GroupLife at Piedmont

Piedmont GroupLife is our Discipleship and Small Group ministry. GroupLife encompasses our Sunday Discipleship, mid-week Studies and small groups. GroupLife creates a predictable, intimate and safe environment where participants experience authentic community and spiritual growth, an environment where God is active in the lives of its members, and an environment where people exchange ordinary living for extraordinary lives.

GroupLife creates the best environment for sustained life-change to occur as groups will study God's Word together, pray for and with each other, care for one another through the issues and challenges of life, and celebrate life's special moments together. As a result of your intentional time spent growing together, lifelong relationships will be developed.

GroupLife is a vital area to the growth of Piedmont Church and more importantly, the spiritual growth of each individual that comes on our campus. Piedmont GroupLife is designed with 3 vital aspects to fulfill the mission statement of Piedmont Church. Our 3-fold strategy is simple: CONNECT - GROW - SERVE.

CONNECT
It takes more than Sunday services to connect in meaningful relationships, but most people will avoid this basic step because of fear of rejection, fear of commitment, or fear of accountability. And, in many cases a combination of all 3. Piedmont GroupLife will have groups in place to fit every walk of life and to provide a safe environment for you to connect to new lifelong relationships. Without you, I am incomplete; and without you my potential is limited. We must intentionally connect in order to grow.

GROW
As a believer, we cannot settle for mediocre Christianity. God gave His best and expects us to accept nothing less in our relationship with Him. Piedmont GroupLife will water the seed that has already been planted for growth to occur. Once connected to a group, the fear of rejection, commitment and accountability will fade and real growth can begin. Piedmont GroupLife is structured to help you GROW in 3 areas of relationship:

2) Your Relationship with the Church
3) Your Relationship with the Un-Churched

SERVE
Piedmont GroupLife will provide the opportunity for groups to serve together within the ministries of Piedmont Church and in the communities where we work and live. The greatest demonstration of servant leadership is revealed through the life of Christ Himself. Each individual has been gifted and has the ability to use their strengths to reach others. Your involvement in GroupLife and serving at Piedmont is vital to the fulfillment of what God has called us to accomplish. Never underestimate your ability to make a difference.
